LivingBread Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Overview
LivingBread is provided by Veritas Partnership LLC for members of campus Christian communities. It helps members engage with daily Scripture, reading journeys, hymns and worship resources, events, announcements, reflections, prayer requests, and optional reminders. This policy explains what information LivingBread handles, why it is handled, and the choices available to you.
Information we handle
You may browse portions of LivingBread as a guest. If you create an account or sign in, we may handle:
- Your account identifier.
- Your email address, display name, and profile photo URL when made available by your sign-in provider.
- Your sign-in provider information, such as Google or Apple sign-in.
- Reading-journey membership, reading progress, completion history, reflection entries, and related milestone or reward information.
- Prayer requests, prayer interactions, and answered-prayer updates that you choose to submit.
- Connection requests or other messages you choose to send through the app.
- Event participation information when you choose to RSVP or otherwise participate.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in a reflection, prayer request, or message unless you are comfortable sharing it with the intended campus-community audience and administrators under the app’s privacy settings and moderation rules.
Optional notifications and device storage
If you choose to enable notifications, LivingBread may process your device push-notification token and reminder preferences to send requested reading reminders and relevant campus-community notifications. Notification permission is optional, and you can turn it off in your device settings or in the app where available.
LivingBread may store limited settings locally on your device, such as reminder preferences and a locally cached push-token value, to provide reminder functionality and a smoother app experience.
How we use information
- To provide account sign-in and maintain your member profile.
- To save and display your reading progress, reflections, and reading-journey participation.
- To enable prayer-wall, event, announcement, worship, and community features.
- To send notifications only when you have enabled them or otherwise requested them.
- To moderate community content, protect the safety of the community, and enforce app rules.
- To maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve LivingBread.
How information is shared
LivingBread does not sell your personal information and does not use advertising networks or third-party advertising tracking.
- Campus community features: information you choose to post, such as prayer requests, reflections, event participation, or community content, may be visible to the audience selected for that feature and to authorized campus-community leaders or moderators.
- Service providers: LivingBread uses Firebase services provided by Google for authentication, cloud data storage, server functions, and notification-related functionality.
- Sign-in providers: if you choose Google or Apple sign-in, those providers process authentication according to their own privacy policies.
- Legal, safety, and rights protection: we may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate misuse, or protect the rights and safety of Veritas Partnership LLC and the campus community.
Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your LivingBread account through the account-deletion option available in the app. When completed, the app is designed to delete the account profile, authentication account, reading completions, reflections, journey membership, prayer requests, challenge/reward information, and registered push tokens associated with that account.
Some connection requests may require manual review because they may not contain a user identifier that can be automatically matched to an account. For help with a deletion request or to request manual deletion of remaining connection-request information, contact us at info@veritas-partnership.com.
We may retain limited information when required for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, or other legitimate operational purposes.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled through LivingBread. No internet or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to post in community features.
Children and age eligibility
LivingBread is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information through LivingBread, please contact us at info@veritas-partnership.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LivingBread changes or as legal, operational, or security needs require. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and make the updated policy available through this public policy page and, where appropriate, within the app.
